Flavio apologises to Lewis

Renault F1 team boss Flavio Briatore has apologised to McLaren driver Lewis Hamilton for the nasty comments he made on the Briton in an interview with the 'Gazzetta dello Sport'. In the newspaper Briatore slammed Hamilton for acting like he already proved something while he never won the championship. Flavio also predicted that Hamilton would once again throw away the title like he did last year.

He said some doff things. At least he apologised.

I admit Hamilton is over-confident. But with all the misquoting and media jibes ... he's still a good driver.

Alonso's chronic head syndrome doesn't deserve a comment. Renault weren't at the races this season ... back to the drawing board boys :D

Naah - Lewis is merely reacting to the general attitude out there - there are alot of jealous people who think you shouldn't be allowed to come second or drive aggressively in your rookie season... :D

Of course I would never expect everyone to agree - that's the beauty of sport - no competition if everyone supported the same team.

No problem dude.

I've tended to be very independantly minded when it comes to sport teams and individuals I support.

I don't mind the flak ... I've never followed the crowd :D
 
Why would nobody agree, i will agree he is a good driver with a big head, i will also say in the last weeks the amount of stick he has taken from the media and a few alot of people within the f1 ranks would actually help him and i think he will be world champ and not make a silly error again, i think all the stick he has taken has sunk in finally. I have never said hami is a poor driver i have said that his attitude is holding him back.

Forget he started in a great car, there is no doubt he can drive. Problem with being over-confident is it you won't focus enough because you think your so good that you cannot lose. He got a big wake call in the last 2 weeks since his crazy first corner move.

We will see in Brazil :)
 
Thing is tho, in reality he made one mistake in that race... a big one nonetheless at a bad time, but of Massa and Hami, Massa had two brain freezes in Fuji and seemed to be utterly rattled in China... maybe he comes back strong in Brazil, who knows...
