Most seem to be flexible given the variable mobo distances. 8cm is a lot though...

The one that came with my new MB is rigid, which doesn't help me much as the cards have a bit of the heatsink in the way of a rigid bridge. I've seen some on international sites that are up to 12cm - had an 8 cm one that seems to have given in now...
