Hi All

I have recently connected my PC to my new lcd 32 tv.
As follows:
Sinotec 32 lcd
Athlon dual core 2.4
4gb ram
nvidia 8600gt
Windows XP
1.5tb hdd with series and hd rips
connected to tv via dvi-hdmi cable

Was going to buy a hd media player but this is so much better and the picture very clear pumped through the 8600gt, and you can play scary ass games like doom 3 with surround sound :) was watching my back lol.

My problem is: When I try to select 720p on the nvidia control panel the screen changes but there is this faint green flicker all over the place, I have to change the resolution back to 800x600 to get a clear picture and set the nvidia settings to 420p.

anybody know why it will not go to 720p, it tells me my TV supports up to 1080i?

What's the refresh rate at 720P ?

Did you download the latest drivers from Nvidia (don't use the drivers that came with the card, it's often outdated) ?

yip latest drivers for card, refresh rate is set as 60 on 720, tried the others but it just got worse.

Try to set the resolution to the TV's native resolution which is AFAIK 1366x768. Who knows what Nvidia does when you set it on 720p. this can also be 1280x800 and doesn't go with the TV at all.
