Flickpay "down until further notice"?

Just received a reply to a support request to Flickpay that the service is "currently down until further notice" and "won't be up and running any time soon".

Is this old news?

I'd not heard anything and searches reveal very little...

It's a mobile payment "solution" http://www.flickpay.co.za/ (others include Snapscan and Zapper). Once set up you can use your smart phone to make payments in stores that support it... Or not, if its not working any more!

Thanks, I still prefer cash or on rare occasions card. Do not trust these phone payment apps
