Flies in the pool

So over the last few weeks I have been noticing that I am removing more and more flies and bees from my pool.

My PH and chemicals are spot on, so I don't think they are being attracted by the water quality.

Anyone else seeing this and have a solution?

The last few weeks, I’ve noticed more flies than usual , all over the place. I have two fly traps set up and they’re filling up fast. You could try those.

Do you use chlorine (hth) or blue52 (or similar pool chemical)

I have been using Blue52 since I moved in. Pool went from an algea farm to clear within 24 hours. Have been keeping up with the weekly dosing and a monthly algeaside/water clarifier.

That said the last 3 days I have been putting in 250g hth in the pool. I now have no insects floating on top of the water. Coincidence?
