I'm trying to book a multi
CPT to Istanbul(flight via dxb with layover few hours) . Istanbul to dubai and dubai to CPT

And luckily I noticed this but the ek117 flight which goes dxb to Istanbul it says "no checked bags" only says this for that flight every other connecting one says 2x23kg so what the heck am I supposed to do with my checked bag for my holiday lol I'm so confused

You have a massive issue. Essentially your max baggage will be the carry on as you cannot take checked bags on every leg.

These are flights we do not book as you can't really take anything. That's why they cheaper.

Also don't be that person. Who attempts to play dumb won't work and could cost you thousands

Just picked random dates and was offered two checked-in bags. Have you tried to increase the class of booking EG to the flex booking etc.

Is it booked directly via the site? Do they not just mean that your checked baggage goes straight from CPT to IST?

No, you have to go through the booking process and see what the extra costs will be for the bags. They just bill them separately.

Just use kayak.com or expedia.com

Varies, booked a ticket with TK last week for R12k return to Germany at beginning of August. Just saw a return to IST from CPT for R11.5k.

There must be a misunderstanding as Emirates is obviously not a low-cost carrier, hence every single flight will have check-in baggage included.
