Am I in a fit of rage!
Those of you that know me will recall that my father in law kicked the bucket in November, diagnosed February stage 4 Lung Cancer, with 12 months to go.
The in laws decided to have a final trip back to Blighty before the termination of the old man's life and around April paid for two tickets on a flight in Early August.
Sadly before August arrived, his condition deterioated rapidly and he was no longer able to travel, even short distances around Gordons Bay were an issue...
On the 24th June they informed Flightcentre that they would need to cancel their trip as the old man's cancer had spread rapidly and he was no longer able to travel.
After a bit of wrangling they refunded the old man's ticket, but not the old lady, with their insurer citing the old lady was not sick and she could have still travelled.
The sick bastards, SHE WAS AT HOME NURSING HER DYING HUSBAND!!!!!!!!
Old man passed in November and I have just found out about this story seeing as I am currently visiting the old lady.
This is no longer about the money, more about the principal/moral of the matter.
Before I contact a local talk radio who had a good go with Flightcentre last year after they tried to screw another old lady, I need to know where we might be making an error with the entire affair...
I thank you.....let rip, I have broad shoulders...
