Flirc

There was some mention of it in the HP Proliant Microserver thread. I suggest you search there.

I got it via procsum. The site is legit if that's what you were asking.

Downgrade Flirc firmware?

So I upgraded the firmware to 3.5 - but now my Harmony 300 is all screwy because of it.

Hitting a directional key once now has it moving twice in any direction in XBMC.
Totally useless to me now.

Been googling, but no relief.

Anyway to downgrade/rollback firmware to the previous version please?

Have you tried changing the settings in the Harmony software?

Shyte - forgot about that! :p
When I registered the software - twas on my friend's machine - never bothered with it again.

/downloads again :p

Thanks :)
No problem, if I remember correctly in the Harmony software you can change key delays etc which when I setup mine many moons ago fixed a repeating button bug.

Funny story, I removed all devices from my Harmony 300 with myHarmony software and I've now got basic and proper functionality on my flirc. Will try mapping some of my other favourite keys in the flirc gui again too.

Got around to this again, doesn't seem like the 300 has any options to setup the delay or repeats.

Any other help on rolling back the firmware for flirc?

Old thread in the logitech forums confirms: http://forums.logitech.com/t5/MyHarmony-com/one-button-press-double-received/m-p/881648#M4302

IIRC I had the same problem with the number pad on my Harmony 300 and DSTV. I think I eventually just kept the DSTV remote around and used the info + side scroll button to change channels on DSTV with the Harmony...
