Flla phone - how do I get it to ring?

Hi guys

I am not technically challenged but for the life of me I cannot get my parents Telkom Flla 3g phone to ring.

The phone is activated and I can make calls from it. It also comes up as our current home phone number when calling however I just cannot figure out how to make it ring. I have checked the settings and have adjusted all the volumes but nothing has worked

Maybe it is just faulty? Take it into a Telkom store if it's still in warranty.

Its got a basic version of android iirc , maybe check what ringtone you have set.
My grandfather has one and wanted an old fashioned ring so just found an mp3 and set it as that, try that but if not maybe as @Nobody Important mentioned its faulty.

We received our Telkom FLLA 3G Android phone yesterday, same problem, can dial out but cannot receive incoming calls . . .
Anyone have any solutions?

I had a similar issue. Had to contact Telkom several times to get it properly switched over. Think the calls were going to old landline still. Logging a support case via the website (they called me a couple of days later) seemed more successful than calling the call centre.
