Starting to see deep cycle lead acid batteries starting to come out with full BMS onboard ,45ah charge rate , fitted 4 of 150amp units yesterday for a client , made in Germany unknown brand markings , what was interesting was that you cannot draw power from battery while charging ,it seems to disconnect completely while under mains power , no solar involved .purely backup for medical devices .

Would the acid from the battery charge not destroy your medical equipment?
What about hydrogen gas discharge?

batteries are on a rack outside ,the system is inside , medical inverters are small and very basic , no fiddling allowed , purely for backup for computers i suppose and scan equipment .medical thingys dont like to be disrupted while working .i also presume the power is smoother through an inverter , no dips and shakes .
