Hi all
Since the 4th of October my ADSL has been on and off. One day I can stay connected for 5 hours straight, te next I'm disconnecting every 5 / 10 mins. This has now been going on for almost two weeks straight. I've even tried two ISP's but still, keeps disconnecting me.
I've been fighting with Telkom since the first day it went off, They even send a Tech to my premises but still nothing has been fixed. I run a business from home and the amount of money I've lost due to this is BULLS&^T!! I paying for an ADSL line, yet I have to buy mobile data everyday.
Got this reply from TelkomZA:
"Registering PPP sessions but really unstable, not lasting more than a couple of minutes:
Presently line only attaining +-2.9mbps. Ans I'm paying for a 4meg line."
Seems his the only guy trying to help me out here.
I'm giving up hope. If this is not fixed by Friday, I'm cancelling this crappy service. Thinking of going the LTE route.
Is there a ADSL problem in the Florentia area in Alberton?
