Flying/epic flying

Ok heres the deal. I have no flying skills at all, how much is it going to cost so that i can have an epic flying mount in outlands and northend?
 
A lot :(

1000g for Normal flying
5000g for Epic flying
1000g for Cold weather flying

I forked out another 980g for my DK flying mount, but normal mounts are 100g for Normal and 200g for Epic speed
 
Do you have to have epic flying to get cold weather flying?

Nope

but its horrible flying at 60% in the air :( Once you get epic flying you wont regret it. Since money isnt an issue in wotlk, i borrowed 4k gp from a mate and am paying him back 400g a day, i make 500-600g on quests a day
 
60% flying is like masturbation with razorblades,slow and painful

i just blew 12k gold on epic skill for myself and fiance. what a massive difference seriously.

and i have The Headless Horseman's mounts, can you spell WIN, its ground and flyer
 
i seriously cant see how you guys can have no gold i mean i blow like 300-500 gold an items just for me to level :) im sitting on 70k gold now, and i blow it like crazy

Not all of us have the time, im hardly on during the day, only get a chance during the evening at which im:

a. Leveling (now-a-days)
b. Scraping money from dailies to pay for raids
c. Raiding all night

With that i usually sit on 1-1,5k gp

you still on RH semaphore?

I have a mixture of professions, jc, herb, enchant, inscription, i use them all to complement each other.

I dont sit on it all day i usually get home from work at like 730/8 and play for bit , and also play the AH.

Yes i am still on RH
 
Im on lvl 78 atm, Couldnt play for a while because I had to work out of town. At lvl77, when you can learn cold weather flying, I had 2.5k gold. My proffessions are eng and mining. I never sold any ore. I went to the AH for the first time the other day and put a stack of frostweave cloth and 1 of these new fire-mote-thingy's to see what i would get. Nice prices. Seems about 25 to 35gold for the cloth and about the same for motes(or whatever they are called). I wont sell my stock just yet. Waiting for more people to get those rare recipes that need this stuff :) I have loads in the bank from mining and gas-extracting. So i havent really sold anything. Yet I was still able to easily accumulate about 2k just leveling, after paying for training for spells as well as professions. I started with a low gold balance. had about 180g.

I now have 1.8k gold and im not making any major effort to get gold. Its really easy to accumulate gold if you can refrain from spending it on the AH. I havent bought a single item since I got to Northrend. Im sure I will be buying mats to make my bike :)

I dont have an epic mount on this char. I switched from my warrior to my warlock. My warrior has his epic flying mount. I think i will be able train up my epic riding skill for my lock in about 2 weeks.
