FlySafair offers priority boarding

The problem with Flysafair is they offer these low cost prices but then charge you for all extras, including baggage loading, so, by the time you are finished paying for all these extras, they sometimes cost more than their competitors!

I've just booked a flight to PE (:D:D;)), and, after paying the extras, they are actually not much cheaper than Kalula and Mango have just cancelled the route:mad:

But my daaaaaling. They are called extras for a reason. They are not essential. You want comfort, you cough up and pay. When flying to PE to visit your hunk, just pack two thongs ... that is all you will be needing anyway. No need to pay for checked baggage. :p

Sweetie, listen to me nicely........

Why the hell should I have to pay for my luggage to be loaded onto a plane????:p

And, yes, I need checked luggage - you should only see what I pack for 4 days of "torture"

I never take checked luggage. Why should I pay for a service I am not using? I basically subsidize the people packing heavier. I like this model better.

You're obviously a male! Females just cannot travel light:D

Fuel is determined by weight, so you'll just have to pay more then;)

Now to get them to charge ticket based on your weight. Maybe not, people will not eat for days before check in.

My daaaaaaaaling. You dont pay for the physical act of having it loaded onto the plane. You pay for the weight. In your ticket you have a small amount of weight included for cabin luggage ... but for extra weight you have to pay. More weight, the heaver the plane and the more fuel needs to burn to get you and your thongs into the air to go visit you hunk. :)

Gawd dammit lovie!!! I know why they charge for luggage - all I am saying is, the other airlines don't - yes, it's obviously built into their prices but this is just a great marketing tool by Flysafair to show "low cost" prices. This affects women more than men:whistle:.....this is chauvinistic!:p

Oh dear god ... you better hope Nick does not see that! lol

I have booked my mom on Flysafair and she needed checked luggage ... and they still worked out cheaper than all the others that have their luggage allowance "included". I even preselected her seat for on the emergency exit on the wing for which you also pay a premium and yip, you guessed it, they still worked out cheaper. Will not always be the case as the LLC model requires that pricing be adjusted as the plane fills up.

Hence why it is a low cost airline. You pay for what you want.

Indeed. If anything, until Flysafair came along, our other operators were not really following the true LCC model to the latter. If ex mrs ant thing Flysafair is hectic, boy, wait till she is on a flight with Ryanair lol

FlySafair are following the similar cost model to Ryanair. It's working.

I agree. It is because of that strict model that air travel have become so accessible and a booming industry in Europe. I just meant that Ryanair is hectic in enforcing their policies. If they could they would use whips to lash their customers to get them to board faster .... though they have recently gone on a drive to improve their customer service and public image. But even with their extreme way of doing business people kept flying with them and they are the biggest airline in Europe. Why? Because they get you there and they get you there cheaply. If a air steward spits in your eye because you complained because your seat belt aint working, then thats fine .... you going to Spain for a sunny holiday away from cold and wet London and doing so cheaply! (Ok, that last bit was just for a bit of drama and fun) :p

I wish they would implement this. I'm under 60kg. That's like... a kid's price for me!
