FNB App / 3 G ????

As an idiot , I was very proud to be able to load the banking app to my Nokia C6-00. However , whenever the 3G icon changed to E , I lost the connection and got an error message from FNB. Took the phone into the bank and sadly they seems to know less than me. The MTN shop said it's just bad coverage . There's thousands of people using the app every minute I hear, what am I doing wrong? Phone settings wrong? If anyone can help please type very slowly and no words longer than 5 letters please!

Is your connection set to 3G & Edge or 3G only?

Problem is, how do I know?
Under ' network' the settings are;
network mode -dual
operator selection - automatic
cell info display - off

What options do you have under Network Mode?

dual , umts and gsm ?

Change it to GSM, which should at least give you a more stable - if slow - connection, and try again...

Thanks, will try that a bit later this morning when I have to do a transfer whilst out in my car.

Seems I have to remain choep still when outside and the 3G is showing. Did a transfer. Thanks guys !
