FNB App not working on wifi

Hi All,

I am new to iPhone, only had the thing for a week now. I have found that my FNB app does not work when wifi is enabled, when launching the app it loads for a minute and then says unable to connect, if I disable wifi it then works as per usual.

I know the app needs cellular for security reasons, but as far as I know it should still be able to do this with wifi enabled.

I have;
- Tried with wifi assist on and off
- Checked that FNB is allowed in the Cellular settings list
- Checked in the FNB settings that Cellular Data is allowed

Still nothing.

Any ideas?

Try to reset your network settings?
General > Reset > Reset Network Settings

Check for port blocking rules on your firewall.

Do you mean on the wifi firewall? There is no port blocking, but it is on permanent VPN to Canada, I will try with my other local wifi shortly

And Glingfram is the WinRAR, local internet works fine, must be the VPN causing the issue.

I don't think it does. But FNB told me that port 36400 must be open. The network you're connecting through probably has this closed.
