FNB Banking App on iPhone not working?

Hello,

I have come to realize that the FNB banking app on my phone is not working. I have deleted it and re-installed it, without any luck. Does anybody else have this issue? If not, what could be the problem. How would I be able to fix it? I currently am on iOS6.

Same problem here. Closes as it tries to launch. Maybe the app is not compatible with ios6. There was no update to the app when ios6 was released.

Edit: Google "fnb app ios6" and see we're not the only ones. Fnb dropping the ball a bit on this one.

There is an update for ios6 compatibility...
V1.5.1 launched about 4 days ago
 
Hmm thank you. I went to the appstore, and re-installed it... not working. I also can't update it, as it does not want to launch so that I can update it.

I'm doing it on the phone. 4s

Just did the delete and downloaded again. Still not working.

Perhaps I need to do it in iTunes on the pc and see if that works.

Have you tried it in iTunes on the pc rather than on your phone?

I can't launch the app to see the version.

I deleted it. Went to the App Store on my phone. Downloaded the app and it still won't launch.

I did see in the App Store that the current version is ios6 compatible version 1.5.1.

Edit. Checked the version in settings and I have 1.5.1. Still wont open though.
 
Twitter to the rescue! Here is the fix that worked for me.

iOS6 fail on FNB's part!! App won't work unless you go to settings > privacy > contacts > FNB > On then it will work.

Ah ha!

It does have that info on the app page in the store to be fair ;)
