Hi All

Has anybody used a FNB Connect flexi month-to-month sim card and tried to cancel it? This is a month to month contract and as such you give FNB 30 days notice to cancel or upgrade to a new plan.
So FNB comes and mysteriously wants to charge a "cancellation" fee even though you have given 30 day notice. You can also not upgrade your number to a different FNB Connect plan without first cancelling the month to month contract and then applying for a new contract. Either way, on a month to month FNB Connect sim contract they will charge you a cancellation fee. I cannot find any reference to this in their terms and conditions.

Has anybody else had this experience yet?

How much is the fee?

I want to port from Vodacom to FNB next month and don't want any surprises ...

Hi Guys,
Any news on this, I am also thinking of moving over from Vodacom onto a Flexi FNB contract

I'm trying to port away from Fnb connect. I have moderate signal perhaps 50℅ of the time, and the rest no signal. It's also a hassle to port away from them.

I've not heard about the cancellation fee, but when I phoned them to take me off the flexi connect, they said it will be done today.

I would not recommend Fnb connect at all, but maybe others have had better luck.

I'm happy so far. Been on flexi for two months.
