FNB Connect losing the plot?

My phone is almost done, 1 more instalment to go. I was keeping an eye on what they have recently, I currently have a Galaxy A15, very happy with the phone and was probably going to get an A17. Both A16 and A17 were still listed on the site as of just over a week ago. Frankly don't need a phone, but my kids' phones could do with a bit of an upgrade. Looked the other day and no more A17 to be seen. Emailed FNB Connect to ask if they are perhaps going to get more stock, get told the device is no longer supported and thus no longer available. First of all..... no longer supported in what way? Samsung provides software updates for what? 6 years more or less. The model is not even a year old. There is no A18 to replace it yet. A week ago they still had the A16, a phone which is well over a year old. They still have the A26, also older than the A17.

What a clown show.

I can wait a while..... like I said nothing wrong with my phone, the kids' phones are still OK, I just thought might as well upgrade for a lower payment too, but the point wasn't really the phone, just that FNB seem to have just given up. The other SPs fall over themselves to keep current, FNB is just dropping relatively new models with nonsense excuses about the phone no longer being supported. Going to hold off for now and see what happens.
