Hi, U "battled to get help from their consultants" ?? In branch or over the phone or ?? Where do u live ?? What about FNB Connect , are interested in/curious about ???

I have been on their flexi connect for a couple of years now.
LTE speeds are good and I have not had any issues with voice quality or network availability in the areas I frequent.

Tried to get hold of them via my email (no response) and telephone (held forever) before asking my banker to escalate internally (1 week).

Since I managed to get a consultant today who gave me a lot of the process related answers, interested to learn from mybb users what experiences they have had with the actual telephony of fnb Connect ie call drops, coverage, data speed, general happiness or unhappiness with the telephony services...

I've been on FNB connect for a few years now, never had any issues with call drops or quality but I don't really call often. Data connectivity is sufficient for what I use my phone for, seldom ever really need to use data as I'm always close to a fibre connection of sorts. Speedtests generally are lower than with MTN/Vodacom but I don't require blistering speeds to do what I do on my phone.

I've had them for about a year, yeah LTE speeds can vary, sometimes I just get a missed call notification, it doesn't ever roam even though I've told it to. It will try stick to FNB even if the signal is low sigh.

I use them just for occasional data use. They're okay around large towns and cities. Network isn't comparable to MTN/Vodacom, and FNB Connect isn't as cheap as RAIN/Telkom, so they're not the best in any one way.

Nope they aren't actually thinking of switching back to Telkom
