FNB Down for Anyone?

I keep getting notifications from my ISP that my card payment was returned unpaid. In fact if it wasn't for them I wouldn't have known that FNB was offline, now we as customers need to deal with the unpaid debit orders/payments :mad:
 
Annoying. Was buying something on Incredible as its the last day of their sale.
 
I had this issue earlier in the week when I tried to log into my secondary profile. I was taken to a page to confirm FICA details and when I confirmed everything was correct I got booted out and couldn't log back in. They also blocked by main profile so I had no access to online banking or may app.

When I called to query I was simply told the only solution was to create a new online banking profile.

I just checked and can now not log in to that new profile either.

I had the same issue, "private banker" was useless. I hope that I never get to work in bank IT.

My new profile is working now, and just made a card purchase but my other profiles are still blocked.

My conspiracy theory is that FNB is blocking secondary read only profiles to stop people using apps from competitors such as 22Seven.

They seem to hire absolute idiots for their IT.

And then they have the nerve to tell me that I must contact Gmail, because Gmail is not delivering the InContact notifications

But for a couple of weeks now, if you look at your InContact email timestamps and when you actually did the transaction, there is a huge difference, so their systems have been struggling for a while now.

Looks like a cascading failure that they can't fix.

Yes this has been happening since before the weekend. I got this from our service provider.
Users may experience issues with FNB DebiCheck creations and eWallet payouts. The issue is under investigation
This means i cannot do any debicheck creations or e-wallet payouts for my FNB clients. WTF :mad:
 
App working for me. Paid all my bills, and credit cards settled. Back to having an empty account after that one night of glory that immediately follows pay day.
 
Well, redhat is linux right? So I'm going to guess that it looks like there is some corruption in the installation of their web server, but why FNB wouldn't have multiple redundancies for that sort of thing I have no clue. And why haven't they sent a communication about this?
