FNB eft POP charges

Did anyone notice in the FNB bank charges for 2020 the Payment notification charges:
Email 95c SMS - 40c

Quite a change, last I remember email pop was free and sms you paid for, why would they charge anything let alone double for an email pop?

That's just pure BS why are you paying over R100 got the privilege to bank with them, I would expect these charges to be free.

I always recall the POP being charged, it says so under the tick box

There's a different portal to view your bill, that seems to work most of the time.

Previously you were charged but only for sms pop delivery, email was free.

I know sms always had a charge but email was free.

Personally never used the email because it always told me there was a charge, made more sense to just download and email it myself.

If you download the statements monthly, its for free. After a while, charges kicks in for historical statements

Yeah well doesn’t make sense coz I am also on premier but not fusion. Maybe query with FNB

So I checked, My email POP is free.

If you actually click the Email Sending Fee transaction, I believe it then gives you the service fee charged.

They have your money, I mean its not under your mattress, WELL, welcome to the digital era, those looks like Willy-Nilly costs to me, it is really that easy, just a name, a click and you subtract, and so the monetary systems gets slowly but surely binded up as you drive throught the mist.
Look at your vehicle license costs, fees without even a name..
Look at your local authority costs, I have 4x new fees added without a name and VAT is charged on them.
Scrutinise every large entity account for Willy-Nilly costs added, people just have a poor understanding of whats going on.

Fk me, that's even more expensive than Gold, weird though, the cost to FNB must be the same no matter the account type so why are my Gold sms pop 45c and email 95c vs yours?
