My wife has a Non Tax Resident Account with FNB. Every 3 months I send a request to unblock the account for a deposit of her pension from Momentum. This is simple and takes about 2 to 3 days. I have been doing it for 3 years.
Now my request was ignored for 8 working days so I skyped them to complain only to be told by an arrogant operator that it is not my account and I cannot give the instruction.
I stated that I am not withdrawing money but wish to merely open the account for a deposit into it.
No ways as my wife now has to do it and they will phone her. They did not and thought it was a scam when I said my wife is in hospital with throat cancer and can no longer hear or speak.
There is no real person to speak to at FNB and this is so frustrating.
