What makes a debit order new?

There is a reference and an amount and of course the vendor. Will be interesting to see how they do this though as for a lot of debits the amount is variable

hell, I have 13 debit orders. Nothing dodgy though.

I also a huge number of debit orders on my account but I am gradually cutting back on them. All those debit orders are what chews your income away.

Good to hear, may the other banks follow suit.

High time we need this sort of thing to stop dodgy debit orders from going off.

Assuming that the alert will come through no matter if the debit order's 0.01c (or whatever lowest number of funds that can be transferred via a debit order)....
