Hi,

I need a new Smart device from FNB (for eBucks points) and wanted some opinions from people that own and use these devices. I'm primarily looking at a laptop but I'm open to suggestions. I've narrowed it down to the following 3 laptops
1. HP Envy 15-j100ni ( Non-Touch )
2. Lenovo Thinkpad Edge E540
3. Dell Inspirion i7 (B)

I'm leaning towards the HP so anyone owning that please give me some opinions. I'm not sure about the touchscreen and how usable it will be so I've listed the non-touch version here but if anyone can give me real life scenarios when it becomes usable then I might consider it...

Thanks,
Gendibal

I'd suggest going into the nearest Incredible Connection or FNB store and seeing if you can play around with those models. Sometimes the difference between perception and reality in terms of build quality and feel (especially the touchpad) can be jarring.

I also looked at the HP Envy and the Dell i7, and test drove them at Incredible Connection...
Was really not impressed tbh, and i opted for an MSi laptop on special at Kalahari.com

I can't be happier, mind you im not using the laptop for gaming but as a business machine.

Thanks for the responses guys. Will pop in at Incredible this afternoon.
