FNB late payments

Anyone else experiencing late payments today?

I payed into my BitX account last night and it still hasn't reflected. I've lost on R400.00 growth because I can't buy anymore and FNB just say 'just wait'

It's generally taken 5 minutes before.

They have no idea why my money hasn't left my bank and advise me to simply wait.

Transaction was FNB > FNB and done last night at 22:30. I've already lost out on buying the Bitcoin, so pointless when the transaction goes through eventually.

By any chance, did you use the mobile app to do the payment? I've noticed payments being delayed when using that. But it does happen sometimes even via the web. There's not much you can do but wait (generally 12-24 hours). Only Nedbank and ABSA seem to get it right all the time. Standard Bank are the worst

Nah it was via online banking.

Very annoying to have a 24 hr delay from the same bank.

I sold something to someone a few weeks back that I met on a forum and he swore he did the transfer FNB > FNB, but nothing was reflecting. In the beginning I thought it was a scam whenever he said 'I've paid and need to collect!', but now I see how often it happens

Luckily only took an hour or so with him.
