Hi guys,

Got an FNB Macbook Air 13".

Question, can it qualify for Applecare? I've noted that Applecare covers accident damage.

Contact the iStore's. They will check the serial # & advise you. I got mine on contract through Mtn 3 years & qualified for AppleCare.

Not unless you move. SA doesnt have Apple so we don't have AppleCare. According to Core what we get is their very own iCare, which for R2k will extend your warranty by two years, and unfortunately the warranty doesn't include accidental damage.

Rather insure the Air.

Yes it does cover accidental damage, two incidents in fact, at R500 they repair whatever.
