The private clients cheque account costs more per month. I'm no snob so I don't care much for the colour of a card, but if it makes my life easier, I'm game.
Is it worth the extra R100 a month in fees? What would I get that I wouldn't from a premier cheque account?

Really sorry, I know there's info online, but I don't trust any marketing info, I'm asking to hear from people who've experienced both or at least investigated them more thoroughly than I can in an afternoon.

Thanks!

You get more / easier ebucks on private clients. I found that the R100 difference is easily made up for in ebucks.

I know you're only asking about the cheque account, but I thought it would be best to share anyway. The interest rate on my credit card dropped from 23.9% on Premier to 15.5% for Private Clients.

Was 2 months on Private before I requested to go back to Premier.

- more banking costs

- more difficult to get to level 5

Yea I also find eBucks easier on Premier and also dropped from Private to Premier. Only negative was the below if you use credit

They offered me a lower interest rate on my overdraft than that - I think it was around 18%. Not that I want overdraft...
I went for Premium after all. Thanks!

Very true. Someone who works with me also was on that, after month 1 he reverted back

I'm also eligible to upgrade now. I get that the monthly costs are higher and it's harder to maintain RL5 on PC. Apart from the slightly higher eBucks reward rates, what are the benefits of PC over Premier? Real benefits, not the "private banker" hogwash.

Think the caps are a bit higher on PC compared to premier, but the package are more expensive
