FNB Smart Device & Pricing

Hi,

I'm getting mixed responses from my banker as well as the smart devices office around how the pricing works on a smart device. So I've sent my banker off to find out what the story is now.

But - I'm sure there are loads of people out there who do have smart devices from FNB... Does the discount still work? ie - discount linked to your ebucks level. And does it indeed come back in ebucks each month? I am a FNB PW client.. so i think i can get the full amount back of R469?

Reason I'm asking is - I cancelled my iphone 6 order last year... and just got an sms saying that "IT IS READY", so now im thinking... why not... if it is close to being free?

If you are in the Private Wealth Client, then yes, I do believe the discounts apply, but this all depends on your reward level and the discount is also capped I believe.

I am "just" FNB private client, not private wealth, which is different. So confusing really.

I am with FNB PW and get close to 4000 ebucks back every month on my smart device.
Obviously you need to be reward level 5 and it is capped at 5000 pm.

Smart Device subscription rules
To earn eBucks on your active FNB Tablet, Smartphone or Laptop contract, you must apply for it via FNB Online Banking. Simply log onto Online Banking, click on 'Accounts' and select the 'Tablet/Smartphone Order' option.
The maximum amount of eBucks you can earn on an active FNB Laptop, Smartphone or Laptop contract per month is eB5 000.

Correct, on reward level 5 you get charged for the device on your current account and then get refunded in ebucks to your ebucks accounts to a max of eB5000 per month.

only applies to FNB Private Wealth and Rmb Private Bank
