Foetus blocks drain[Durban]

Pinetown metro police are investigating an abortion clinic suspected of being responsible for a drain blockage after a foetus was found in the drain on Friday.

Metro Superintendent Joyce Khuzwayo said yesterday that a cleaner was called to unblock the drain and found that a foetus had caused the blockage.

She said the blocked drains were in Hill Street in the Pinetown CBD.

"The matter has been forwarded to the SAPS for investigations and an inquest docket has been opened.

"At this stage, we suspect that the foetus was flushed down the drain by the abortion clinic in one of the buildings in Hill Street."

Oppose to this being the only choice? If you decide to do this If the state hospital will not do it you will get a back alley abortion.

In this country we do not have enough regulation on medical waste. Even the state hospitals dump it where they want . Why would they want to pay an incinerator to do this? Less money to embezzle. None of the privately owned medical waste companies want to work with the government. They do not pay. And before we can not sort out our government issues how can they point fingers?
