Folder names

I'm sure this could end up being one of those head smacking duh moments but . . . . as you may know I have two 400Ds. When I copy across the files via a card reader I have to contend with them both using the same folder name - 175CANON.

Is there any way to change one of them to something else?

Ummm... try resetting the counter on one of the cameras. That should also update the folder number.
(Well, this does on my camera, not sure if it will work on yours, but try anyway.)

You can also specify a naming convention if you are using the shipped with canon software.

Yeah - but I'm not I think I only use the canon software for tethering.

the aforementioned method worked just fine. I've got one 400D on CANON175 and the other on CANON176
