Hi. I got an android 2.2 tablet, my first time using android and I'm unable to make menu folders in which to group my apps. Online search only shows how to make folders in android 1.5-2.1. Please help.

Just long-press an empty space anywhere on the homescreen and click Folders / New Folder. The same process is used in every version of Android, except for Honeycomb.

The folders in Android are a bit cumbersome though. Personally I don't use them; I just keep shortcuts to frequently used applications organised into separate homescreens.

If you want the more elegant iPhone-style folders on Android, I've seen several apps on the Market that allow you to do this; however, I've never used any of them, so I can't comment on how well they work.
