Folders in windows live mail

My folders under my inbox have disappeared.How can I recover them.
As a matter of interest I opened a new folder and the ones that have disappeared
came back.What is the answer to this problem.My os is windows 10.

The answer is switch to outlook or if you want something free use thunderbird.
The disapearing folder issue in live mail is never ending.

You can use the import function to add them again for the time being.
The path you need to browse to is.
c:\users\[your user]\appdata\local

There are two methods you can use to retrieve your folder back.

• Click on View in the taskbar, then select compact view. From the gree plus, check on the lost folders that you would want to retrieve by simply clicking on the checkboxes beside each folder.
• The click ok
• Once done, click on View and then click on Compact View.
