Hi all,

Hmm, iWork 08 works really well with Office 2007 docs ... only problem is the fonts and such going out of whack (as it is not on OS X). Can one install a pack of fonts similar to the Windows fonts?

Ta

Depends what fonts the windows user applies I guess. I'm not sure how iWorks handles font substitution yet but there are plenty of cross platform fonts, serif and sans serif, that should work without a hitch. Times New Roman, Times, Arial, courier . . . the list goes on. :)

There is definitely a whole bunch of them that do work ... but our "standard" is Calibri, which gets substituted with Times New Roman

EDIT: how was the petting zoo and new grip-toy?

That's a odd substitution - Calibri being sans serif and TNR being Serif.

Petting zoo was great - little one loved it. Didnt take the grip though as it doesnt fit in my existing case :o

HAHAHA, I have the same problem ... with the grip, 3 lenses, 430EX, 24 AA batteries, chargers and what not, that Tamrac backpack just doesn't cut it anymore :(

So are you using AA's or the camera batteries in your grip? I've decided to stick with AA's and just use the proprietary ones for when the grip is off.

I've got the to Hahnels in the Grip, the Canon BP-511 reserved for using the 20D without the grip ... will keep the AAs as backups for the grip, and for use in the flash and my wife's A540

Hmm, I don't have Calibri on my font list :(
Want it? Theyre just ttf's so fire up parallels (like you dont have it running anyway , copy the fonts from your c:\windows\fonts directory onto your desktop. Open up font book and install them. :D

Hmm, how did you know ||s was open? (btw, tried the newest build of Fusion ... I still rate ||s higher).

Thanks for the how-to!

lol

no worries - actually getting the fonts on my pc was the only problem - had to install the powerpont viewer in case anyone else is looking to do it.

I've got a feeling changing it just involves drilling down into the templates. I'll have to wait till someone sends me a file in that format.
