Food Delivery Voucher Thread

Seems mine are offline at 18:30, I was busy ordering and all of a sudden every restaurant went unavailable.

Uber Eats:

ZASAVE75 R75 off your first Uber Eats order. New Accounts only apparently

Has anyone managed to use the R50 wallet credit that Ubereats gave many of us after lockdown?

I just placed an order and the schmucks didn't apply the R50 credit, I had the use wallet toggle on and now the R50 in the wallet is gone as well.

I was wondering about this, I would have thought that it would take it off your total bill automatically

I managed to use Uber wallet credit to pay for supper yesterday. The credit was from months ago though.

I managed to use the R50 off voucher at the same time, but couldn't then also use the free delivery voucher.

So remove the free delivery to be able to use the R50 from the wallet?

Maybe. It seems like you can't use 2 vouchers on the same order.

Yes they made the free delivery for the month of may as a Voucher with unlimited redemptions. This is likely to prevent people from getting free delivery and getting free food with vouchers. So you have to choose which one you want free.

If you want to use the voucher and get free delivery you need to order from restaurants that offer free delivery. Sometimes you get free delivery if you sped R150 or more at certain restaurants. Those offers you will be able to use the voucher and get free delivery. If that makes sense.

These guys are backwards.

When you place the order they reserve the full amount owing on your credit card, the R50 credit doesn't even show on the invoice at that time. For all intents and purposes it looks as if the credit has not been used.

The credit is only actually deducted from what you owe and then shown on the invoice after the delivery has been done.

One day later and the debit for the full amount is still shown as pending in my banking app, Uber support says that once it goes through it will be for the amount less the credit, who knows.

Bottles app delivery PnP:

Bottlesflow - R100 off
Freeflow - R85 off
Firstshop - R75 off
Gotgroceries - R75 off

I find their prices to be expensive. R35 delivery fee, R10 service fee. The vouchers make it better in terms of the fees. I use the vouchers to help pay for the fees and tips. Drivers delivering the Bottles app orders are Uber Eats, MR D Food and Uber/Bolt drivers. They deliver with cars only it seems.

See if this works for anyone:

TAKEIT100

R50 off each of 2 UberEats orders of at least R100 in value. Valid until the end of 24 May.

I have no idea I spend R200 including all fees, tip and delivery fee and just has to pay R100. I guess they have a minimum spend not sure how much though. On that note MORE vouchers!!!
