I'm thinking it's time to get a new food processor. How is Russell Hobbs these days? They have a fairly rudimentary one going for R1200 on Takealot

Or there's a Philips for R1400

Any other brands I should be looking out for?

Every Russell Hobbs product I ever had was disappointing.
I also would rather go for a Kenwood above most others and that one at Amazon is a great price. the cheapest Kenwood model is R899 at Makro bit does not look at nice as link above

Went with the Kenwood - thanks B-1.

Next up, a printer... :)

Don’t do it!

But if you absolutely have to the ink tank things have really come a long way.

However stick to Epson because the HP piece of **** I bought was great for the first month then suddenly dropped off WiFi and won’t join again.

Still need to get around to trying Ethernet to update the firmware but hate myself for buying a printer again in the first place.

Unbelievably they are all still **** in 2025. Some just less so than others.

Normally we use a print shop but with a kid in matric there's more printing to be done than ever. I'm actually looking at an Epson EcoTank to replace the unreliable HP we currently own.

Same same. Could only stay away for so long.

I have a Brother ink tank printer. Not the prettiest but the ink is really cheap and no nonsense like with HP.
