Do you use a digital or conventional food scale? Which is best?

How long does the batteries last on the digital food scales?

Both are 5kg food scales. The Digital Scale is R200 and the Conventional Scale is R175 at Clicks

I do fine with a conventional scale. Once you get to grips with how it works you can control the measurements very well.

Digital is better in my opinion. More precise for baking and what not.
Spend the extra R25.

I use a digital one because I'm lazy, and it works very well. Put the bowl on, one button press resets it and you can start weighing. Also has a switch to change between kg and pounds, makes it easy if you get recipes online.

Digital
Cooking becomes a joke.

>Zero tare
>Add ingredient 1
>Zero tare
>Add ingredient 2

And so on. Saves having to dirty more bowls and plates.

Seems like the Digital Scale it is then.
Digital Scale = 5
Conventional Scale = 2

I won't be using it for small gram weights. Would make use of the scale for masses between 100g and 300g mainly.

Thnx all

Oh I have no preference on which is better just saying I do fine with a conventional scale. Maybe I should get digital one of these days but meh.
