Now having Narcolepsy is bad enough, but I just visited an oddity called a podiatrist for the very first time. He shaved my feet with a scalpel:eek: and did wierd things like wrap my footsies in plaster of Paris to make "orthotics"
Does anyone wear "orthotic inserts"? Do they work? Do you just shove them in your takkies above the already present inserts so you look like the Tall man? Does the pain diminish? Sometimes it feels like I'm walking permanently on a Walnut.

Shave my feet?!?!? That will be the damn day!

Why didn't you ask the podiatrist these questions, he should know?

Are you sure they aren't going to have to amputate something soon.

Sorry but I'm having some "He who shall not be named" backflashes with this user.

Nope nope. FFS nope. Just "orthotic inserts" and if that doesn't work, a big cortisone filled injection into the foot. I hope the former works but I know nothing about orthotics. There must be someone here who has takkies full of wedgies that can relate their success or lack of...

Arches go flat on one footsie when walking and as a result the ball of the forefoot foot feels like walking on a red hot poker.
If I really knew what was wrong with my feet I wouldn't have ventured into the shady unknown world of Podiatrists who do funny stuff like shave feet, wash them, and make plaster casts of them-like they are deities or something.

Shhh, don't let the Happy Clappers hear you say that, lest you be mobbed by miracle seekers.
