I got this coffee from my brother and has Kenyan written on it.
made it in the plunger and man is it some strong stuff, will totally wake you up and put you on a buzz and ready for the day.

Yet my fav will always be Jacobs Krunung. I love coffee and can't live without it.
Whenever I go to the restaurant I always order a cappuccino or latte.

So what is your poison or do you prefer the instant coffee or are you an addict who cannot live without your 5 cups of coffee a day?

What coffee do YOU think is the best and where can we find it.

My fav place to get a cup-a-jo is at Vida e Caffe.

For a full listing of their stores and coffees http://www.vidaecaffe.com/

A couple of names pop up in my head, of course all are in bean form. I'm a fan of Dark coffee :D

For the store brought coffee, I would say I would go for House of Coffees Italian.

Locally, Mastertrons French roast coffee and Italian is pretty darn good :)

I had a cup of Death wish coffee when I was in the USA, it was good :D :

Vida is good, but try Motherland Coffee Shop at the Zone in Rosebank.

I am strictly in full city roast, micro lots from Cuba, Dom Rep, Kenya, Malawi etc.
I have a burr grinder and good 15bar coffee machine, use fresh roast beans.
Bean coffee has a less caffeine than instant coffee and that includes Jacobs

I really like Peaberry from Legado coffee roasters or a Sodoma from Snob's coffee roasters. Home brewed using an Areopress

You must be very close to me if you know Snobs, get my beans from Lourensford.

Don't know If I'll order it online just as yet, perhaps in March or April.

That sounds delicious,do coffee stores stock that?Where do you get yours from?

It is an Israeli company (Elite). There was a PnP in JHB that sold it but an Israeli friend told me I can get it in Sea Point somewhere. I just ask friends that are going to Israel for holiday to bring me a crap load back. It's amazing coffee...

Also this stuff from Canada, Raven's Brew. I was given a shirt of theirs (The wicked wolf one) and had to try the coffee. Very lekker. These are some of their blends:

I smaak my Frisco instant, 3 tablespoons of that and no sugar or milk.

There's a little coffee shop on Northfield Road near Balfour Park Shopping Centre called Jozi Blue.
They have a top tier coffee called Hacienda La Esmeralda Special (very expensive but a have-to-try-one, like a fine cognac).
