!Warning! Spoilers If you havent played Episode 2 don't read unless you dont mind spoilers...

I was discussing with my friend about how I think players of the Half Life 2 series are fond or even in love with Alyx Vance, You may be one of them if your heart almost broke when Alyx got “killed” by a Hunter in Half Life 2: episode 2.
So I was wondering if this is true do you agree with me?
AKA are you fond of or inlove with Alyx Vance with her random quote: " Sometimes I dream about cheese"?

Half Life 2 sports some of the fullest characters in almost any video games. Along with Cloud and Tifa from FF VIII. This is something Valve does very well, I mean I nearly cried when Alyx got impaled by that Hunter and when Eli got his brain sucked out i sat there in disbelieve. It is a true testament to a developer who can create characters that provoke such emotions from their audience.
 
HL2 was released in 2004 if you haven't played it yet then there is something wrong with you.
 
Wow, horrible thread for people who haven't played HL2 and the episodes yet! That Eli-scene was a jaw-dropping end to Episode 2 though... Can't wait for Episode 3!
