basically they are calling FD a bug
thats now fixed (after 2,5yrs of it being 'working as intended')

DONT WORRY GUYS, ITS FIXED NOW!

we cant fd + feed pet during boss fights
w cant fd + drink during boss fights (not that i did anyway)
our pet pathing is completely... wats the word im looking for? starts with an 'F' ends with a 'UCKED'

oh, great news survival specced ppl... readiness doesnt allow u 2 double trap... best part about it is, the GM's compare our traps, to shackle and sheep!

after trolling the forums 4 a few days now, following the blizz threads...
Blizz devs should seriously; wake up, not stealth nerfbat us, retake those changes and most importantly, stop trying to balance pvp issues with huge pve implications

tbh, aotv does help, but not enuf

GG blizz... and i thought when hunters survived 2.1 patch, we'd b alright

You can still MS and Dispel every 6 seconds and currently you can even shoot off Shadowform.
GG my ass.
 
Lol you cant dispell shadow form. The priest that reported that was a retard and clicked away his shadow form...

As for FD and drink, never needed it so bad luck to those having to rely on that instead of using potions...

You sure about that? I haven't had a chance to check it out yet.
 
Yea, pretty sure, I have spend 15 hours in BG's this weekend, and can defnitly not dispell shadow form or druid shapes. The post on the forum where the priest QQ about it read a bit further on aswel, he was just trying to get attention, possibly because he got owned by a hunter :p

Sadly i dont know a hunter whos specced survival to have Disengage
(and no i dont pay attention to players lower than 70, unless its a guildies alt)

Afaik disengage does not take you out of combat, it only reduces your aggro on current target. So where this is important i.e. boss fights you wont get out of combat to drink.

Btw, I did some testing last night on FD and drinking. Was soloing the elites outside of Gruuls lair, typicaly 2 elites at a time one raptor and one ogre. As it is almost impossible to kill both in one go, I killed the one while the other was perma trapped. While the one was still trapped I would FD and drink eat to full health and then set my pet on it again and kill the second one. Since the mob still had aggro on the pet it does not dissapear or regen to full health, so it was possible. This ofc was fixed in boss fights as it should have been a long time ago. Since everyone else is instantly in combat when they enter an instance where the boss was engaged.

Still can use FD to save repair bills and consumables though :D

Sadly??? I respeced to survival as well :D And loving it! Still get 750-850 dps fully raid buffed, and with 860 Agility the druids/ferals/warriors/melee shaman/ other hunters love the 200 AP boost each time I criticaly hit the target which is now 40% of the time! Did I mention survival have insane crits! :D
 
disengage doesnt remove you from combat .. .evar ... it just lowers your aggro by like 100 so that wont work.

and i love how the pvp people all jump up and down excited bout the fd+drink but put them in a raid and they will b!tch about hunters low dps because of no mana

I am PVP and raid a lot :p
PVP gear I have 6k mana PVE 8k mana (9-10k when fully raid buffed) (10k hp pvp and 12k hp raid buffed) Drinking lots of fel mana potions during raids (really cheap!). Ever heard of mana oil and dual wield?
Seriously you dont need FD and drink to keep you going, and our new mana aspect works quite nice when you drop to below 10% of your mana pool.
 
yes i have heard of mana oil. pvp at 1000ms sucks. fel mana pots aint that cheap on my realm. aspect of viper is helpfull if you got the intel or whatever is used for it. Raiding on a RP server errrrr not happening. I think we have 1 Guild on the WHOLE server who's in BT on 2nd or 3rd boss.
 
Get an herbalist and alc alt, or guild m8 that can make the potions for you. My mage is a potion master and she would typicaly make 25-30 potions from the mats for 20 potions. The reagents tend to be the cheapest on AH, but easy to farm for them as well. Mana potions aint that hard to get either, but since you get less mana from them I tend to ignore those.
 
If you're doing the Ogri dailies you can hand in your millions of Apexis Shards for mana pots now.
