Hi All,

Could anyone point me to someone in CT that stocks this? It's the spring that returns the clutch to it's full upright position.

I have called:
Ford Dealers - No stock, don't know when there will be.
Midas - Does not stock
Masterparts - Does not stock
Ferobrake - does not stock

All the service places refer me to the dealer and that helps not at all.

What happened to the original spring? is it the one located at the clutch pedal?

The one hook snapped off.
It's located at the back of the clutch pedal - hooks the pedal to the chasis and just helps to return the clutch to the upright position.

Aaah, the good old plastic slave. Sadly, this is a dealer only part. They do make metal ones in the UK if you want to import.

At our local Mica store they have a big selection of springs with examples tied onto a display. I am sure you would find one that suits your need.

Exactly what I was thinking, buy a spring and do a custom job to suit your application while you wait for the dealers to source a spare.

See attached. That's a non-broken one i found online, don't currently have a picture myself. It is the spring in the center of the photo.

So sad that such a useless part is causing you to run around, if you were in the farms you could easily get that spring off an old steel bed or one of those old fashioned couches :D

Good luck don't forget to buy 2 if you get it, it should be cheap.
