Hi everyone,
I have a 2016 Ford Fiesta Ambientte. Today my rear-left door latch (may have) broke. When I close the car door, the latch itself doesn’t hold to the hook so it just opens. I can also able to move the latch from open to close when using a screwdriver to rotate the latch and the door handles do absolutely nothing.
My guess is something broke inside the latch mechanism? I’m not a mechanic by any means, but I can’t think of any other reason.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? If so, how much did it cost to fix?
