Ford Figo Rear Speakers

I have a 2013 Ford Figo. The Figo came with 2 front speakers. I'm thinking of putting to 2 additional speakers in the rear doors. Before I do, I'd like to find out some answers:

1) What size speakers does the rear door panel take?
2) Is there a specific brand/model Ford used for the front speakers? If unknown I guess I'll have to replace both the front & the rear to get some sound equality.
3) Taking from the above, what speaker model & power would be suitable for the Ford Figo stock ICE system?
4) Was Ford kind if enough to run some wires to the rear doors?

I bought 6x9 to put in the back as it looked like it would fit but it didn't I think it uses the 4x6. Best to take the door panel off and just double check.

Edit: Also note, if you want to add an AMP you will need a plug that fits at the back of the radio. It doesn't have RCA output built into the radio.
 
Figo takes 5x7 speakers.

No wiring into back doors or from the radio.

I have done a few, you can wire up to the stock radio - Although it was only designed to take 2 speakers - it does work with 4.

JBL, Alpine, Hertz, Rainbow, Pioneer, XTC, Earthquake all make 5x7 coaxial speakers you can use. I would suggest possibly putting the front speakers in the back and putting the new much better speakers in the front doors.
 
If you have no understanding of an electric circuit or fitment of car audio. Take it to someone professional.

Or matching the front and rear speakers?
 
Yes you could of course fit 4x new speakers - but remember without an amp or a new radio the improvement is limited to how much the factory radio can power them.

We stock and just google - loads of companies accross SA. You're going to be in for R600 upwards for a good set and labor R250+
 
Supersunbird, There's a coloured oke that does installations at HiFi Corp at Atterbury Value Mart. After my car got burgled, he installed everything. Dunno how his skills with OEM radios are though

So what door speakers would you recommend fitting on a figo?

Pretty much anything thats 5x7, found some on takealot although go to HI-Fi corp and just see what they have got in this direction. Helping someone with a radio now and will see what all i can find tomorrow

Will I need an amp or can I just wire and connect the rear speakers to the stock radio? I'm not planning on putting a sub.

Most modern car radios have the capability, out of the box, to run 4 speakers (2 x front, 2 x rear) plus line outputs for additional amps to also be incorporated as well - so just ensure that ALL the speakers are connected with the same polarity (negative & positive wires) and that they are also wired to the correct sides / circuits (FL, FR, RL & RR) so that the balance & fader controls work correctly.

See this example of a SONY car radio wiring diagram for reference:

The White (FL) & Gray (FR) speaker wires are for the front circuit - the Green (RL) & Purple (RR) ones are for the rear circuit.

That stock system is so kak i eneded up buying new speakers all around from Hi Fi corp and the Sony Android.Apple Auto radio. Just they put the ultra basics in it

Which speakers did you buy? I'm also looking for a pair of 5x7's.

Not 100% sure bought these for my girlfriend's car. All i know is they were sony speakers. For the back, i had to make a cutout with masonry board as getting that exact size speaker was a pain.

At the front, i got those speakers with when they installed it for me.

Where about are you based as the installers i used at in Rivonia ?
