Ok so my wife was out shopping for a car last week.

Initially I thought she'll get a Micra which turns out that she actually bought the Figo in the end. I just want to comment on what an amazing little car that Figo is. Was driving it over the weekend and that 1400 engine is mean for it's size.

She didn't want me to help her with choosing a car she wanted to buy it by herself. And I have to admit, I think she made the right choice :p

Micra  I think your wife deserves a pat on the back for a job well done.

My brother just got a Figo - nice car!

I think its 160nm torque too, so nice pulling power. That very close to a 1.8 and up here at reef, I suspect higher than some

very nippy for a 1.4 :) alot quicker than a polo 1.4 :)... i've diced a few ;)

Nice car! liked the old fiesta and i like the figo.
If the fiat 500 was a little cheaper then that would have been my recommendation though

My fiance has the older shape Fiesta (Figo shape) and it is a really solid lil car. She's had it for 5 years now and not a single issue in the 5 years. I was really impressed with the power delivery from the small 1.4i in hers and the build quality is really good. So the Figo is the same car, just looks a bit fresher. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a good motor vehicle

Im happy with the Figo aswell. It is a nippy car for a 1.4

The Ford fiesta was on special I saw the other day for R145k, why bother with the Figo?

Test drove this yesterday. Wasn't too impressed.

I drove the Trend which has the "chrome" interior. The demo I drove was 2 months old and around 3000 km - the "chrome" interior was already scratched. The engine also sounds pretty rough? I get it's a budget car but I want some value for my money. Maybe it was just the car I drove.

On the plus side, the gear change just feels awesome.

My fiance has the 1.4i Fiesta (Figo shape) and it is a real gem of a car. No hassles and she is just over 101 000km now. Had it since 2007.

I am renting one now because my car is in for repairs... (don't ask)

I found it to be fairly nippy but the interior also didn't impress me. That being said this would be a nice travel to work and back kind of car for the wife. The seats really suck though imho.

I drove my wife's car and I have to agree :D

She likes it though so who am I to say anything... Overall the car is a very good.

Hi All

I have 2006 ford fiesta(face-lift) I adore that car, the feel, the power delivery and IT overall, responds to my every command perfectly, until recently the engine in that car got wrecked nd my dealer suggested I trade it in for a brand new figo. I've seen the figo inside and out but I'm just worried I wont get the great feeling, of stibility, control and power I got from the fiesta. Man I loved that car. For 1nc it looks abit higher than the fiesta. Has anyone experienced driving both cars and has anything ,beside sportilooks, been lost in the figo?
