Hi

So when i accelerate hear this ticking sound coming from the engine?the oil levels are good and i see no leaks around the engine.

Ford focus 2008 1.6

As well i notices when i drive 400k and come into town it sounds like a misfire ?this is only when really hot or long distance.

Some said it could be exhaust leak?

Could be a few things like leaking exhaust, lifter, injector etc

Misfire + heavy fuel usage = Spark plug, coil or injector.

Get a diagnostic scan.

Expansion/contraction as parts start to cool?? Does it make that sound even with the engine off after a long trip? Test it.

Record the sound. You could play it here, but you'd probably have more luck asking on focusfanatics of talkford

Was at Ford

checked via diagnostics ,all clear no problems found and software up to date :/
Exhaust has no leaks as well

So why am i getting 589km on a 55L tank

mixed highway and town

589km on a 55l is pretty decent actually, especially assuming you aren't actually putting 55l in.

Well actual figures would go a long way.

Probably putting in only 45-48 litres at filling time which is about 7.6-8.1 l/100 which isn't bad.

Probably also more town driving than highway. Besides what does highway even mean? With traffic or without?

Long road it comes to 13km per L
used 28L for 368km

in town not sure but way worse, round 8-9km per L

i dont speed or drive it in high refs ,long road i drive 110-120
town always speed limit if not slower ..
