Hi. I have a ford kuga 1.6. 2014 model with 108000km. Engine light came on. Car has not performance issues at all. Had it at 2 dealerships and they cant resolve the issues.

Cars showing a p2636 error. Fuel pump, fuel module, low pressure sensor has been replaced. Light remains on. Had it with another guy now to try and assist. He says we should look at replacing the fuel rail pressure sensor. Apprently these will still show good when testing but sometimes are the fault. Just dont want to spend R2k plus for a hope its the problem. Anyone had any issues shuch as this.

Common Causes of Ford Escape P2636 OBD2 Code
A common cause of code P2636 is the failure of P2636 Fuel Pump B Low Flow/Performance, but there are several other possible causes as well, such as;
Clogged or faulty fuel injector (s)
Faulty front heated oxygen sensor
Faulty Air Flow Meter - I would check this as well, clean the MAF sensor
Faulty starter motor
