Hi there all. I have a 2014 ford kuga 1.6 ecoboost. I have done the software remapping on it in February 2019 and car was pulling like a bomb. I recently had an exhaust leak on the outlet side before the turbo which i had to remove the turbo to repair this. During the time i did the downpipe on it as well and had the CAT removed. After all was put back together the car is not pulling like it was and sometimes engine light comes on showing O2 sensor issues. Car is also jerking from time to time. Is there any advise of what i can look at?

Was a CAT fooler installed on the downpipe to fool the ECU that there a cat in there ?

Yes unobeat. I had a minicat installed as recommended by exhaust specialist. I am not sure if i might have adjusted something on the wastegate when all was removed. And not sure how to check this but car is not pulling close ro how it was.

Oh i c
I think you might need to visit the guys that did the software to check that all is well.

Thanks. I will look into that however i dont think its the software they done as it only started after i removed the turbo to fix the exhaust leak and then did the downpipe. They will again try to rip me off by saying they need to redo the tuning due to the changes done.

But thanks for advise

i think there was an issue prior to when you had software done. so when you went and had everything sorted out perhaps not that its all fixed with no leaks the software is out of sync with the systems

Could be specific parameters in the map. Some Maps will be specific for whether you have a cat installed or not.
