Ford Laser clock query

Hi Folks,

I have a Ford Laser 1.4 (1990). I am looking for someone who also owns one and can tell me - does your clock display go OFF when you switch the ignition off? I recently had a 'replacement' ignition lock fitted (not a Ford part) and now I notice the clock display stays on all the time. I am almost sure the clock display went OFF when the original Ford ignition switch was turned off

Can any Ford Laser owner out there tell me what your clock display does when you turn the ignition off?

This usually depends on how the device is connected.
