Can anyone recommend a good Ford or Mazda mechanic/service place ?
Both of my cars are now ten years old and I no longer want to use the franchise dealers.
They are far too expensive and I feel they are ripping me off.
The Mazda went in for its 225k service and everything was fine. Only abnormal expense was a fan belt. At its 240k service the list of of repairs was an arms length. I don’t mind paying but I can’t believe so many major things went wrong in the past 15k.
When I go to Ford the quote is never less than 20k. Always a joke. 6k to replace a broken bonnet lock.
Both cars have only ever been serviced at their respective franchise dealers.
