formatting assistance

Hi all, would appreciate if anyone could advise...

I recently installed windows 8 on my PC, but have now decided to revert back to windows 7. I have two hard drives, on windows 8 was on, and this morning i installed windows 7 on the other. Now the problem is that i cant seem to format the one containing windows 8.

Does anyone know what could be causing this? or have any idea what to do?

Run cmd as Administrator and use the diskpart command.

Hyrens CD/USB or Active boot will work

I'm suprised that diskpart didn't work.

Kill_disk...via a bootable USB should work..
